Student Assistant/Machinist - Stevens Machine Shop
  •  Installed, set, and calibrated a Fourth Axis on a Fanuc Robodrill α-D14SiB5-ADV with a 31i Model B5 controller.
  • Brokered deals with tool distributors and manufacturers such as keeping an updated and discounted stock of tooling for the shop as well as LiFePo4 batteries for the E-Boat team.
  • Taught Introduction to Machining to undergraduates, with a specialty in materials, threads, milling, CAM, and supervising welding operations.
  •  Introduced more advanced CAM operations such as TCP (Tool Centerpoint Control) to the machine shop.

Armorer/Private Military Contractor - Smith Tactical
  • Aided in the design, production, and implementation of new product features in prototypes such as a split baffle design for Special Operations.
  • Hand Manufactured 300-1000+ rounds of ammunition MK118LR, MK242, MK316, and MK248 at any given time to exact specification with a .8% attrition rate through inspection, testing, and root cause analysis.
  • Successfully pitched MK118LR and MK242 to Central Connecticut SWAT for use in their weapons systems and took part in instructing CT SWAT Snipers.

  • Provided support for First Article Inspections, including verifying cosmetic and functional quality of production parts. 
  •  Documented, reported, and provided technical support for non-conformances by verifying dimensional tolerances in production parts.

  • Oversaw and developed general parts operations such as ordering, job scheduling, staff assignments, marketing to be eventually adopted on a national scale.
  • Negotiated with manufacturers and circumvented traditional supply chains to increase gross profit by 60% in under six months.
  • Provided the sales and service department with technical expertise in individual components including, but not limited to, technical drawing interpretation, installation guidance, and parts selection.
