Mild Buffoonery

M14 Stock Liner - Inspired by Brookfield
The Brookfield Stock Liner was a steel frame that was bedded into M14 stocks to maintain precision when taking apart the rifle. Brookfield has long since closed down and as an M14 Armorer, I decided to design and machine my own version. It’s machined from pre-hardened 4140 steel (easier to machine) and a custom fixture was made to so the alignment chamfer the reciever has could be machined.

Pump Housing
Reverse-engineered old ABS water pump housing with a CMM. Milled and turned with TK Ultra 7 Aluminum

d freely available satellite data of New Mexico’s Franklin Mountain Range and parametrized it. Programmed and Machined out of 3” thick 464 brass. Did not have a jointer or planer for the Walnut base, facemilled instead.
